Our range of aesthetic treatments

Aesthetics

Aesthetic treatments play a specific role in helping you enhance your face and body's natural beauty. No matter where you want improvements, we can certainly help people who believe they look good on the outside tend to take on life more confidently. Conversely, those who are insecure about their outer appearance are more self-conscious, finding it more difficult to approach certain situations, especially those involving social interactions.

Simply put, how you look is connected to how you feel, which all affects your self-value and confidence. Cosmetic beauty treatments can help you get and maintain that confidence by keeping your skin clear and youthful looking.

Fillers

Our salon uses Revolax, the UK's No 1 dermal filler. Creating flawless, natural-looking results, Revolax enhances, sculpts and volumises your features.

Our range of Face treatments

Face

Dermaplaning is a simple but very effective treatment which gives you a softer and more radiant skin. It involves using an exfoliating blade to remove dead skin cells, which can harbour oil and dirt. It also removes any soft downy hair from your face. This stimulates collagen and improves your skin elasticity.

Diamond Doll is an exfoliation treatment that safely removes dead skin cells, dirt and excess oil on the skin surface. This improves the appearance of your skin by revealing the younger, fresher layer below.

Microneedling helps rejuvenate your skin but it can also treat acne and help reduce scarring. It even reduces oil production and removes blackheads. Along with our skin booster serum, it helps to increase collagen, making your skin look younger and fresher.

Chemical peels remove damaged skin cells, allowing healthy skin to grow in their place. It can help improve common skin concerns such as wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and acne.

Our range of lash and brow treatments

Lashes & Brows

Our treatments are designed to enhance your eyes and brows, while complementing the shape of your face and eyes.

Brow lamination involves lifting and straightening the hairs in order to hide any gaps and give the appearance of a fuller, fluffier brow.

Do you want beautiful long dark lashes? Classic lashes are perfect for you if your lashes have few gaps in the lash line. Russian volume eyelash extensions can provide a much fuller, more glamorous finish.

Nails

Nail extensions are made from plastic, cut to shape and then glued on to your own nails. They are then overlaid with acrylic or gel. Overlays are similar but do not involve the use of the extension. Acrylic or gel is applied directly on to your nails and shaped by hand. Acrylics are the original artificial nail and can be longer lasting and less expensive than gels. However, gel coatings are stronger, more flexible and cause much less damage to your natural nails when it is being removed. Both are a good way of adding strength and support to your nails in order to reduce breakage.

Builder Gel is a thicker gel that is used to lengthen your nails as well as strengthen them. When compared to acrylic, it is also more flexible.

In order to extend the life of your new nails, you'll need to come back to the salon somewhere in between two and four weeks, depending upon whether you've used acrylic or gel.

Pre-Treatment: Fat Dissolving

Fat dissolving is contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding, acute/untreated hormonal disorders (eg untreated thyroid disease, advanced organ disease (eg renal failure), allergy to the substance or materials necessary for the procedure, sever autoimmune disease, immunosuppression, active infection and Body Dysmorphic Disorder.

Aftercare: Lip Fillers

Do stick to foods that are easy to eat.

Do bring lipstick and lip liner to the appointment as this can be applied immediately after treatment to cover up any immediate bruising.

Do avoid kissing or massaging your lips directly after the procedure and possibly for up to 24 hours if it is your first lip filler injection.

Do be gentle with your skin while washing for 24 hours.

Don't use an exfoliating agent for 24 hours or any harsh cleaning brush.

Don't have a facial massage for at least two weeks.

Don't drink through a straw for the first day as this puts pressure on the lips.

Don't drink alcohol for at least 24 hours after you have had fillers.

Don't exercise excessively for at least 24 hours.

Aftercare: Anti‑Wrinkle

Do stay upright for 2 hours after treatment. This is to avoid pressure in the area and to avoid increased blood flow which might cause the BOTOX to be dispersed and therefore not last as long.

Do move the injected areas for the first hour after treatment by making pronounced facial expressions, e.g. frowning, smiling and raising your eyebrows. This helps the BOTOX reach the cells it needs to in order to work.

Do avoid getting too hot for 48 hours after treatment. For example strenuous exercise, drinking alcohol, hot weather, sun beds, sauna, steam room. This is because heat causes increased blood flow which might cause the BOTOX to be dispersed and therefore not last as long.

Don't apply makeup or have a spray tan for 6 hours after treatment. This is to avoid the risk of infection.

Don't apply pressure when cleansing your face. Use gentle stokes away from the eyes. This is to avoid preventing the BOTOX reaching the cells it needs to in order to work.

Don't wear tight caps/garments in the area that has been injected. This is to avoid preventing the BOTOX reaching the cells it needs to in order to work.

Don't have facial massages, facial electric stimulation, dermaroller, semi-permanent makeup, laser treatments, or microdermabrasion for 2 weeks.

Aftercare: Skin Booster

Any treatment come with a small risk of complications. Most of these will present immediately and be easily identified by your practitioner whilst you are in the clinic. However in rare circumstances, it is possible that a complication will not present until later in the day once you have returned home.

We have produced a guide in order to educate you on how to recognise a complication yourself, once you leave the safety of our clinic. Please do not allow this document to scare you, these complications are very rare.

Please contact us immediately if you experience: whitening of the injected area; extreme pain; numbness/tingling; the injected area feels cold to the touch or discoloured blotches in non-injected areas.

For further information, please download and read our Staying Safe advice sheet.

Aftercare: Fat Dissolving

Immediately after treatment with fat dissolving you may notice some redness, swelling, tenderness and a painful sensation in the treated area, as well as numbness from the local anaesthetic. These symptoms generally improve significantly over the next few days. The swelling may last for several weeks in total, but the worst of it is over after about 3 days. If symptoms persist or other reactions occur, please contact us.

Serious risks are extremely small, but these include: redness, pain, irritation, allergic reaction, pigmentation, tissue necrosis (very rare) and temporary nodules. There are special aftercare instructions you would have to adhere to and the drainage of the treated fat cells can be improved by adding other therapies (eg compression and/or ultrasound).

Avoid Aspirin for pain to reduce the risk of bruising or bleeding. Paracetamol is acceptable. Intermittent cooling with ice can by used by applying for 5 minutes post-procedure. A simple fan can also be helpful for discomfort.

Brusing may occur. Avoid direct sunlight, sunbeds and heat therapies during the treatment period.

Do not use active products, including AHA, Retinols and Vitamin C.

Makeup can be applied 24 hours after procedure.

Avoid hot baths and showers (tepid water only) for 5 days.

Nodules are not uncommon. They can last up to a month and usually disappear without any intervention. However, your practitioner would need to assess anything unusual.

A compression garment may be worn for 2-5 days following treatment (this will be guided by your practitioner's recommendations).

It is best to avoid strenuous exercise and heavy alcohol in the first 24 hours after treatment. Exercise is otherwise acceptable.

We would always encourage adherence to recommended guidelines for alcohol consumption, both for general wellbeing and preserving facial/body aesthetics.
